Parque Nacional El Copey

It is located in the middle-east side of Margarita Island. The access is by road leaving from La Asunción. There is a paved access road that takes you to the well known La Sierra sector. In this road there is a brunch that gets to the Valle del Espiritu Santo. 

Its name is given because of a big leaves tree denominated Copey and it is characterized by creating small liana forests and preserving in its shades a great variety of mosses, ferns and medicinal plants of the area. It is important to highlight the sweet water springs that drain from the heights of the hill.
