DAY 1:
MARGARITA ISLAND-CARIPE. Transfer from El Faro in Porlamar
by boat to the nearest coast point (Chacopata) where we will
head to the town of CARIPE. During this trip we will stop at
a Farm for breakfast. Arrive CARIPE and visit THE GUACHARO´S
CAVE, a cave with more than 2 Kms. long named after the
birds that inhabit the cave (between 10.000 and 18.000
Guacharos live inside it) . Lunch in a restaurant in nearby
zone and continue toward LA PAILA, a small waterfall reached
walking through the mountain. At sunset you can see the
Guacharo Birds coming out of the cave. Continue to the Farm,
arrival, dinner and lodging.
DAY 2:
CARIPE-MATURIN (ORINOCO DELTA). Breakfast and departure vía
MATURIN, until reaching SAN JOSE DE BUJA, entrance to
ORINOCO DELTA, where you will take the boats for a trip to
the Indian Communities to observe the flora and fauna of the
Region. Lunch aboard and continue trip through the DELTA. At
sunset, return to MATURIN, dinner and lodging in the Hotel.
DAY 3:
MATURIN-CUMANA-MARGARITA ISLAND
Breakfast
and leave vía CUMANA. Stop in MIRAFLORES to take a walk
through the river and enjoy a bath. Lunch in Cumaná, short
city tour and then, we will go to the airport to take the
flight in Porlamar.
