The archipelago of Los Roques is out of the hurricane belt with perfect conditions including a fantastic scenery, friendly people and virgin flats. The archipelago Los Roques National Park is situated in the Caribbean Sea, 90 miles north of Caracas the Capital of Venezuela.

Los Roques is universally recognised as one of the world's ten destinations for sport fishing and must surely be the number one destination for Bonefish (Pez Ratón or Macabi).

Bonefish, Tarpon, Permit, Barracuda, Jack, Wahoo and Tuna are some of the species that you could catch.

Fly fishing, spinning and trolling are available, with bilingual guides and 28ft fibreglass boats powered by Yamaha 75 hp. Alex González, with the Operación Pez Ratón Fishing, has had 13 years of experience at Los Roques and he is the most experienced guide at sight fishing on the flat.

BONE FISHING PROGRAMMS

We designed our basic program of around five days, with 4 days of fishing. But one week or more might still not be enough for the real sport fisherman that only has the chance once in a year.

Day fishing with guide is possible just let us know at which posada you are staying in and our guide will come around and visit you when you are ready.

Included: Fishing boat, Capitan, Local specialized bone fishing Guide, soft drinks / beers and bone fishing license.

Departure every day at 9.00 hours in the morning and return at 16.00 hours in the afternoon.
Advance booking is necessary.

Reservation: A deposit of 50% of the fishing tour is required at the time of booking. The remainder of the cost of your trip is due 30 days prior to departure. If your reservation is made within 30 days of departure, the entire cost of the trip must be paid at the time of confirmation.
