Green and Fresh Venezuela, a trip of 3 days and 2 nights
around the “Grace Land”
Day 1: Early flight from Porlamar to Carúpano in Paria
Peninsula
From Carúpano, at the north, the trip begins with a green
forest mountain landscape towards the south part of the
peninsula. Agua Sana is our first stop. Nature has created
here an ideal place to forget about the stress. Try a bath
in one of the thermal water wells or a mud bath to relax.
From there we will go to the Buffalos Country Property for a
succulent lunch. A canoe ride or a picture with the house
pet, are good possibilities to digest the food.
To conclude the day one visits a cocoa plantation. Here the
whole process of how one of the best types of cocoa in the
world, becomes a rich chocolate is explained. You can even
taste the liquor that is made here.
Return to Carúpano where we will spend the night.
Day 2: After breakfast we will go to Caripe. Even though it
is early in the morning we will visit”The Muco” rum factory.
There is the possibility of stopping on the road to take
pictures and in Cerezal; you will find the handcraft market.
From there you will begin to go up the Coast Mountain Range,
until arriving at a pleasant restaurant for lunch.
In the afternoon one visits the "Guacharo" Cave National
Park, where the largest number of night birds of Latin
America inhabits. You can get into this stalagmites and
stalactites world.
We will also visit Caripe Town where you can try a
strawberry with cream dessert.
We will spend the night at the "Campo Claro” Country
Property, where coffee and oranges are grown.
Day 3: First of all a good breakfast, after then we will
visit an orchid greenhouse, Venezuela's national flower.
Today we will lead towards Cumana, to the coast. Until
arriving to Miraflores where a walk is made crossing the
river, until a place called ”La Puerta”, formed by thousands
of years of erosion. We will also have lunch in this town.
After then we will continue to Cumanacoa, where a visit to a
coffee toaster has been planned.
When arriving to Cumana, South America's oldest city, we
will visit a cigar factory and San Antonio Castle.
The adventure finishes at the airport where at 18:00 o'clock
our flight departs to Porlamar.
It includes all the meals, drinks on the bus, the flights
and transportation.
It does not include drinks with the meals, airport taxes,
admission tickets to the national park, transportation
hotel-airport and back the first and last day.
Personal belongings recommended to take, sun block lotion,
shoes or sandals to get wet, a long pant for the night,
t-shirt and short pant for the day, bathing suit, original
passport, cash money (Bolivars) for personal expenses. |
