1st. Day
Arrival at Ciudad Bolivar or Puerto Ordaz airport to
continue to Gran Sabana.
ROUTE: Puerto Ordaz – San Felix – Upata – El Cintillo
Stop at the El Centillo where you can try the delicious
tipical desserts and the famous telita cheese and Catalinas.
Mines Villages: Guasipati, El Callao and Tumeremo.
We shall pass through the old mine villages of Guasipati, El
Callao and tumeremo. Stop at Tumeremo for lunch. Departure
to continue the trip to the village of Las Claritas and to
Km. 88, starting to ascend the Sierra de Lema and stoping at
the Stone of the Virgen at Danto Fall, Tarota Fall and to
arrive aftewards to the camp, where you get a wellcome drink,
dinner and overnight.
2nd. Day
Breakfast at 7:00 am and departure at 8:00 am to the native
community of Liworibo, Arekuna etnia, here you can see how
they live and their custom and habits, and from where you
shall sail among the Aponwao river for 20 minutes approx. to
reach Chivak Fall (132 mts. High). You will see here the
Pozo Escondido and Pozo del Amor. Lunch at Liworibo. During
the afternoon visiting to Golondrina Fall and few beautiful
transparent water pools and falls. Back to camp for dinner
and overnight.
3rd. Day
Breakfast at 7:00 amand departure to frontier village of
Santa Elena de Uairen. Among trip you shall see the
beautiful Kama Fall and if weather allows it you shall see
the chaín of Roraima formation from the Mirador Nak Piapo.
Stop in Balneary Soroape (bathing), San Francisco de Yuruanì.
Stop for light lunch. Jasper river and arrival at Santa
Elena de Uairen for dinner and overnight.
4th Day
Breakfast at 7:00 am and departure to Puerto Ordaz. Among
the trip you stop at the mine village of El Callao, visit
the jewelleries where still the workers handles the gold by
hand demonstrating spectacular skills. There you can buy
souvenirs. Lunch on the way and arrival to Puerto Ordaz.
